Usually Halloween is our biggest production holiday of the year. Lots of parties, decorating, dressing up, watching horror movies, eating candy, etc...is what we do all month long. This Halloween was a little more laid back and subdued compared to every other one, probably because we were gone for part of it. Either way, we still had a BLAST!!!
It started out with Wells' preschool program. All of the kids dressed in their Halloween scariest and came out and sang to their little scary heart's content. It was so freaking cute!!! This year Wellyn actually sang along (he was against it last year) and did all of the actions and words perfectly!!
Here's Wellyn and Landon. Landon lives two houses down from us and these two are inseperable!
Everett couldn't be caught without his costume at such a Halloween affair, infact he wore that costume daily for a few weeks before Halloween (and still wears it everyday).
Then of course comes carving pumpkins. Is it just me or does Jon look a little evil?
Wells designed the pumpkins for us. He drew the faces out on his Magnadoodle and then we copied it to the pumpkin. Well done little man!
Now it was time for the night we wait for all year long. We started the party by having all of the Price's out for chili and fun, and then all of the kids took off trick-or-treating. Everett is doing his scary laugh in this picture...he has it down perfect!
Mike (Jon's dad) and I stayed home and handed out candy while the other 8 adults accompanied these cute monsters.
Much to my surprise, the kids stayed out for a couple of hours. Jon said that Everett was the one running from house to house and getting frustrated because the older kids wouldn't keep up. Makes sense since he is the one that lives entirely off of candy!Let the gorge fest begin. First piece of candy was a sour one:)
Happy Halloween everyone!
