Christmas

I probably should have split this up between two different posts because there is so much and I didn't even get pictures from all of the parties.  So as you can imagine, Christmas was a blast!!!
We  couldn't wait to start of the festivities so the 23rd, we headed over to my brother Danny's house.  Haley had made cookie dough and frosting and had it ready for the boys to cut the cookies and frost them.  Good times!  She is so awesome with my boys, they absolutely love her!
Cookie dough, frosting, and sugared sprinkles.  This kid is in pure heaven!

Christmas Eve was a great but hectic day.  It started nice and early since we were feeding the missionaries lunch.  I felt bad that we couldn't to dinner so I decided to make them a nice turkey lunch.  We got the turkey in by about 8am and then I spent the rest of the morning cooking, cleaning, and getting ready.  It worked our perfectly, although the turkey was a bit late.  We had a great lunch with Danny, Haley, and the missionaries. As soon as they left it was time to clean of the kitchen and start cooking again for the Price party that evening:)
Good times at the Price's:
Jon's family always has some sort of competition on Christmas Eve.  Last year it was arm wrestling (I can't say I placed well) but this year it was heighth.  Golden!!!   Although it was extremely close, I still managed a win with the girls, while Jon came out ahead of the boys!  Brittany is less than a quarter inch shorter than I am, lets hope there is no shrinking as I get older because than I will lose  my title for sure:)
After a most fabulous dinner, we had our traditional story of the nativity.  The story was read by Dave and the Cora, Wellyn, and Jonas acted it out!
Now for the favorite part of the night.  Santa Claus always makes a quick appearance as he is out and about.  The kids (minus Everett) love it!

There were lots of presents to be opened.  The boys couldn't have been happier!  The best part was that they all got cars, lots and lots of cars!  Boy heaven!!

With the night getting late, we hurried home to set out cookies for Santa and get the boys in bed.  Here is the tree after Santa came!
 Sheer excitement!
Everett could have cared less about the presents.  His stocking was full of candy and that was what he wanted.  I think I ended up opening most of his gifts and showing them to him while he stuffed his face.

Both boys got Lightning McQueen chairs to go with their new Cars 2 movie.  Three days after Christmas and I have now seen it probably six times:)
 War Zone!
Christmas Day was spent going to church with Bridget and Ryan, visiting my family, talking to my bro on his mission and my sis in Mongolia.  Lots of presents, eating, and seeing grandparents.  I do have pictures of Christmas but ran out of room.  We came home utterly exhausted but happy!  It was a perfect Christmas!  Merry Christmas!
