Skier Wells

We have been staying up in Park City (which I will post about later) but while we were up there, we decided that Wells was at a good age to learn how to ski.  That whole day, my heart was seriously ready to burst with excitement for him.  He looks so cute in his ski gear!  I wasn't the only one that was so freaking excited, Wells hardly slept the night before, as did Jon.  Big Day!!!!:)

It was a tough start for both Jon and Wells.  It was harder than Wells thought it would, and honestly I think it was harder than Jon thought it would be.  After an hour of trying they were both ready to give up.  I met them at the bottom of the hill with Jell-o, string cheese, and a little training tool called an Edgy Wedgy that other skiiers had told us about.  This is a little cord that attaches to the front of the skis so that it kept Wellyn from doing the splits.

Apparently that was all it took.  After that, Wells took off like a pro.  Jon and Wells ended up staying on the mountain for five hours!  Wells even wanted to go down a real hill and get off the bunny hill.  Jon took him to the top of the mountain and Wells came down with all of the adults.  So freakin cute!!!!!!!!!!!!  His airplane arms are spread so he could turn easier:)  He loved doing pizza to slow down but preferred staying in french fry stance to go faster.

After roughly five hours, he was tuckered out and cold.  He didn't even want to stop but after much coaxing from Jon, and a promise to do it again soon, he came in to the hotel.  The little kid hasn't stopped beaming with pride (either has Jon or myself).  He has promised to teach me, as well as his brother and all of his friends.
So CUTE!!!!!!!!
I seriously might push this new hobby.  Expensive but it makes me so proud as his momma!  Oh I love it!!!!
